Our First Rose!

Look below, from when we transplated the roses that were in my Grandmother's yard in late March until now..............here is a picture of the first rose!

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend with our friends Don and Angela from Tampa. It was nice to spend time with old friends and yup........you guessed it............we went to see the Braves play. They proved to be lucky for us and the Braves who won 10-2!

And the winner is...

Kris Allen of course! For all of you idol fans out there, I hope you enjoyed the final shows as much as we did. Dan and I hosted a Idol watching party Wednesday night and we had a great crowd and a lot of fun. Thanks to all of you Idol watchers and non Idol watchers who joined us.

And on the family front, between Mom, Dan, and I.........DAN didn't win our Idol Competition this year! The girls ruled! (Dan is currently protesting the rules...Torrey always seemed to come out with more points even though her pick did not make it to the final 3...Dan's did!!! )

Time in Tampa

Last weekend Dan and I road tripped to Tampa to see Mom and help her pack things up for her move. In the midst of the packing, we took a break to see the Rays play the Indians. Dan and I have set a goal to see a baseball game in every stadium so this is another one checked off the list. While the stadium is not the best, it was great to have my sister Caitlin join us. We witnessed the biggest comeback in Rays history, so I guess they were lucky to have us.



Here is a funny picture of Caitlin while she was cleaning out some of her things. Who knows why she has a bandana, big red glasses, and a wig........but after a lot of work this really got us laughing!

Happy Birthday Evie!

Our love goes out to Sarah, Mike, and Adeline Thomas on their new addition this afternoon. Baby Evie was born at 1:54 today healthy and happy. Sarah did well and we know she will be back to her strick work out schedule soon! We can't wait to meet Evie!
