Last week - started rough - ended with a celebration!

Some of you may wonder where I've been....well turns out that last week I spent Sunday-Thursday at....

After being diagnosed with blood clots in my right arm and hand, I have so many things to be thankful for; family, friends, co workers, prayers, love, and a talented team of doctors, nurses, and staff at Piedmont who took such special care of me. I still have surgery ahead of me to remove the rib (1 out of 200 people have an extra cervical rib) and repair the artery but I am at home with all of the blood clots gone! I will be returning to work tomorrow and looking forward to getting back into a normal routine.

I got out of the hospital last Thursday and was thrilled to be able to celebrate Mom's birthday on Friday. It wasn't a crazy party but a low key get together filled with love and thankfulness. Here is Savannah with her birthday Grandma!

With love and gratitude,

The last week in pictures as told by Savannah

FRIDAY: Gram, Poppy, Anna Grace, and Charlotte arrive.

Hi Gram - Fun to see you!

Thanks for reading to me Charlotte, I love books!

SATURDAY: Uncle Mark arrives

Talking and learning about NASCAR from Uncle Mark. I have a lot to learn about NASCAR and maybe I can teach my Mom some things.

Craft night with Anna Grace and Charlotte! My Mom made the letter "S"
to hang in my room, it turned out great!

SUNDAY: Just hanging out with Poppy and this rattle!

MONDAY: Happy 4th of July, it's party day!

Oh boy...there are a lot of people in my house....

I can't wait until I'm old enough to try some of my Grandma's broccoli salad....I hear it's delicious.

This is my Dad with his friend Elizabeth. She helped him bring in the food from the grill, there was a lot of good food to eat.

I got to meet a lot of new friends at this party, here is Evangeline with her parents Billy and Amelia.

This is my new friend Aiden. I hope I can play with him again sometime soon.

Here is a picture of the dessert Aiden's Mom brought to the party, they are Smores on a stick and I kept hearing everyone say how good they were!

Here I am in my pretty Red, White, and Blue dress with Gram and Poppy.

So cool! My Aunt Caitlin came from Florida for the party!

Here is a picture of my parents, I love them and they threw a great party!

What a busy but great week it was! Thanks for reading about it.

Love to all,
Savannah
