A recipe for a sweet treat...

These are quickly becoming a family favorite so I thought I'd share!

CHOCOLATE CHUBBIES


6 (1 ounce) semi sweet chocolate squares chopped
2 (1 ounce) unssweetened chocolate squares chopped
1/3 Cup Butter
3 Eggs
1 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 cups (12 ounces) semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 Cup coursely choopped nuts (pecans or walnuts) *you can add more nuts as desired up to 3.5 Cups

Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy sauce pan.  Cook stirring often over low heat until chocolate melts.  Remove from heat and cool slightly.

Beat eggs and sugar at medium speed until smooth.  Add chocolate mixuture beating well.

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.  Add to chocolate mixture until dry ingredients moisten.  Fold in chocolate morsels and nuts.

Drop by tablespoon fulls 2 inches apart on lightly greased sheets.

Bake 12-15 minutes or until done.  Cool.
