Our First Rose!
Look below, from when we transplated the roses that were in my Grandmother's yard in late March until now..............here is a picture of the first rose!
Torrey, Gertrude Stein....a rose is a rose is a rose...however - it's your GRANDMOTHERS rose - I was touched that you transplanted it and here is the fruit of your labor. Beautiful - and so are you...I got your snail mail today and was delighted - thank you - great to hear from you and it came at a perfect time. Nice news (our grand daughter was in the hospital for two days and just released - some sort of SEVERE viral infection) but all is well now. I check your blog a lot - it puts a smile on my face. xxSusan
i know this is a delayed comment, but your rose is beautiful, and i know yall will have a beautiful garden by the end of it. Grandma would be honored and proud. love you.
