A Tour Of...

Chicago!

What a fun time Dan and I had visiting Chicago, we packed a lot in our long weekend but it was well worth it!
Here is a view of some of the awesome buildings downtown:

The "bean" sculpture in Millennium Park - so neat you can see yourself in the city.

Gorgeous weather called for a trip to Lincoln Park Zoo where we saw animals and also The Air Show that was in town for the weekend.

Finally we spent Saturday at Wrigley Field watching the Cubs win and then celebrating in Wrigleyville afterwards. Here we are before the game, taking in the sights and smells of Wrigley.

We met a lot of new friends after the games at the bars around the stadium, here's Dan with a baseball fan!

Love

Sending love to my sister Caitlin tonight....here are the pink Gerber daisies I planted this spring for her, her favorite flower and they are beautiful.

Love to Dan for being so supportive over the past few weeks as I work marathon days! He surprised me last week with these amazing pink roses. They were truly some of the prettiest roses I have ever seen, light pink with darker pink around the edges.

Go Braves!

As we are now in the second half of the baseball season it's clear to see the Braves have a chance to win the NL East! They are playing excellent baseball and have good momentum to finish with a bang.

One of the things we love about Atlanta most is being able to go down to Turner Field and catch a game. Dan and I have been to 15 games this season and the Braves have a winning record when we attend!

Here is a picture of Uncle Brad and I at a game a few weeks ago. This was when the Braves
retired Greg Maddux's #31!

July

We have had a busy July and have been extremely behind on our blog. Finally an update!

We took a week's vacation to Lake Lure North Carolina with Dan parents, and his brothers and their families. We found a great house right on the lake and had a wonderful visit with everyone while relaxing.
Here is our gorgeous view...

Anna Grace and Charlotte chilling out in the lake...

We hosted the First Annual Linder Family Luau! We got all decked out, decorated the house, and had a big time, here is a picture of Dan and I and Dan and Charlotte at the Luau.

Upon returning from the lake, we were both busy at work. Working long days is not so blog worthy! I have a busy month of August with installing a new hotel computer operating system. Dan has the slowest month since he's seen in Atlanta. I will be working almost 7 days a week and Dan will be working on some Home Improvement Projects. We have our annual baseball trip planned for the middle of August and this year it's Chicago's Wrigley Field. It's going to be a fun time in the midst of crazy! We will update everyone soon. Love to all.

Happy 4th of July

We had a small get together last year for the 4th, but this year we had a full celebration!

Here is Dan before the guests arrive! This party is a lot of work!

The house is ready thanks to Mom sending Red, White, and Blue Decor!
Mark surprised us and gave us our own corn hole game! One for me and one for Dan....they look great, thanks Mark! Go Vols and Gamecocks!
Dan, the chef did an excellent job, look at the spread!
And here is the perfect looking hot dog for summer!
Friends came from all over, here is Elizabeth and I being cool.

Billy and Amelia looked great after finishing the Peachtree Road Race in the morning.

The newlyweds, Lacey and Thomas.

Robyn, Kiley, and Lindsey, look at Robyn's sunglasses closely, so patriotic!

Kevin, Jason, and Kyle. Kevin and his family were in for the 4th of July and we loved having them join us. This was Kyle's first 4th of July and he looked adorable in his stars. We enjoyed having the Fionte's as part of our celebration.

Kevin's daughter Kate, enjoying a break and drink on a hot day!

We look forward to next year, love to all!
