Happy 6th Birthday Savannah

It was a special day for a special girl who turned 6!  

She woke up to balloons and steamers in her room and in the dining room...

Then it was time for pancakes with sprinkles in them...

Party time!  We celebrated Savannah at Davinci's Donuts, the girls colored, drew on the big chalk board, played donut games, decorated donuts, and had so much fun!

Thanksgiving 2016 in Charleston

Our annual visit to Charleston Place Hotel to see the trains - always impressive!

And of course, all Cal wanted to do was see the horses and pet them...he would have stayed for hours...

Sweet Aunt Carol who is a balloon artist threw Savannah an early 6th birthday party and she always blows us away with her talents!

I snuck up on these 2 Thanksgiving night around bedtime...wish I knew what they were talking about, must have been a "Calvin" thing.

Friday we headed out to Bee City which is a local animal petting zoo...

And then someone was exhausted....

This is Cal and Dan's Uncle Gavin who is 84, they had so much fun playing and were both laughing, was sweet to see!

I had a girls day the Sunday before Thanksgiving and we headed to Augusta to visit the Final Cut - an outlet of Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters.  We spent about 3 hours in the store having the best time, then found this restaurant in downtown Augusta with amazing cakes!

Savannah had a Thanksgiving performance in her class followed by Thanksgiving lunch

Savannah participated for the first time this year in "Once Upon a Holiday" at her dance school...

255 Remodel

Well...I have been a terrible blogger but there has been a lot going on!  We spent from October 10th until November 11th getting our first floor remodeled and while it was an interesting process to go through, we love it!!!

Ceilings all had this design on them and with renovation they were made smooth...a mess but well worth it.

One of the funniest parts of the process, we had our half bath re done and this is where they moved the toilet...onto the front porch!
