This and that...
Walking around the house last week, I passed these on the floor and kept walking. A few minutes later I went back and took a picture...these sweet little sneakers and slippers will be gone soon, I want to remember them now!
My spring time wreath made with Split Peas - looks nice hanging up but not sure I'd do it again...what a mess of pea's everywhere!
My first Mother's day in 2011, my thoughtful co workers got me this orchid plant. I love that it still blooms and is just really pretty sitting in our kitchen.
My crafty friend Jackie made this bow as a headband when Savannah was born. I finally got my act together and made it into a hair bow...I just love how it looks and have always appreciated how thoughtful this gift was knowing our love of the Braves! Looking forward to Savannah wearing it this summer and bringing the Braves luck!
Savannah and I enjoyed this tonight for "desserk" as she says - I certainly gave her my love of chocolate!
Love to all!
Go Vols Go!
March Madness was especially fun in our house this year with the Vols going to the Sweet 16! It's great to be a Tennessee Vol...
A week late...
Last weekend Dan's parents came for a visit and lots of fun was had by all. Saturday morning the Linder girls headed out the Zoo Atlanta!
Savannah and Gram with Willie B...

Antipasti Bites
We had some friends over for dinner tonight and while I didn't capture a single picture of our families, we did really enjoy these appetizers! Recipe says to bake cups for 15 minutes until salami is crisp, watch this closely, after 7 minutes my salami was burned and I had to start over - glad I did! Good friends and good food!
- 24 slices (4-inch diameter) genoa salami
- 2 6 ounce jars marinated artichoke hearts, drained and finely chopped
- 2/3 cup finely chopped jarred roasted red peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, plus more for garnishing
- 48 fresh perlini mozzarella balls
- Position a rack in the middle of the oven; preheat to 400 degrees . Divide the salami between two 12-cupmuffin pans, pressing the salami slices into the cups.
- Tear aluminum foil into pieces; lightly mold into twenty-four 1-inch balls. Push the foil balls into each muffin cup to secure the salami. Bake until the salami is crisp, about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven; let cool slightly in the pan. Discard the foil.
- In a medium bowl, mix the artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, 1/4 cup basil and the mozzarella balls.
- Place the salami cups on a platter. Fill with the vegetable mixture. Top with more chopped basil.
Saturday was a full day of fun!
To kick off St. Patrick's day weekend, Saturday morning started with Green pancakes! After breakfast we packed up and headed to Atlanta's St. Patrick's day parade. We surprised Savannah and rode the train down to the parade, she loved looking out!
We were in the St. Patrick's day spirit - all in green!
Savannah and Evangeline were having a good time!
The Clydesdale's were a HUGE hit!
Calvin napped for the first part then joined in on the fun...
Family of 4!
Group picture - so funny the 3 of us were at this parade last year and all pregnant....but not telling! Look at us this year, hands full of sweet babies born in October!
After the parade ended we went home for a bit and then got right back on the road. This time to Marietta square to see Madeline go off to her Senior prom - look at this pretty Senior! I was lucky enough to get one picture with them!
Then after pictures, we went out with Jan and friends for Mexican - how much fun did Savannah have at dinner with Ms. Jan and Ms. Kim? So much I forgot to take a picture of it!
Love and luck to all,
Torrey, Dan, Savannah, and Calvin

March
started with a night out for Dan and I. We attended the Hyatt's Annual awards banquet and then found a cool spot for finish our night with drinks and some snacks. More to come in another post about the fun of the Awards banquet. I wanted to make sure to post a picture from our night out since it was 8 years since our first date - true love!
Cal turned 5 months old and is doing great eating cereal now. We took about 40 pictures over two days to get a 5 month old picture but he refused to smile. It was comical. As soon as we put the camera away, he would give us his sweet gummy smile. Oh well, I will capture those faces another day but for now - here he is with his serious socks on being 5 months old!
Love to all,
Torrey, Dan, Savannah, and Calvin
